To most of us buying an expensive laptop is paying $1,999 for the Macbook Pro Retina. For others, it may be dishing out over $20,000 for their computer. These are a few of the most expensive laptops on the market.
This 17 inch widescreen laptop tops the list of most expensive laptops at a price tag of $1 million. The diamond power button not only serves as the way to turn it on but as a security identification measure as well. Although the company is pretty secretive about their product (you have to have a password to view basically anything on their website), it is known that the screen is LED and has a specially designed anti-reflective glare coating. It also features 128GB of Solid State Disk space and Blue Ray drive. They are made to order and you have to make an appointment to design the computer.
Tulip E-Go Diamond
What makes this laptop so pricey is all the “bling” that comes with it. The E-Go Diamond is inlaid with solid palladium white gold which houses 80 carats of diamonds. A square cut ruby is also set in both Tulip logos. You can also change out the covers to coordinate with whatever you are wearing that day. The performance is just like any other computer. The screen comes in at 12 inches, 2GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive with integrated webcam, Bluetooth and DVD burner.
How would you like to have a laptop that matches your car? If you have $20,000 you can have one to match your Bentley. You can choose from 10 colors of leather for the exterior. The frames around the laptop are made of white gold and the chrome handle is modeled after Bentley etching. Much like the Tulip, the screen is 12 inches, 2GB of RAM and 160GB.
If you can’t part with your current laptop but still want to jazz it up, you can buy this diamond laptop sleeve. A Dutch company, CoverBee, introduced an $11 million laptop sleeve in 2012. It is covered in 8,800 round cut diamonds and lined with rare black sable from Siberia.
